On Friday night, there was a big birthday party for Sally’s best friend, who turned 18. Sally enjoyed herself a lot, although she left the party at 10:30 pm, because her parents asked her to come home early. Because Sally respects her parents a lot, she follows their wish. Therefore Sally shows her deference towards her parents.
